Spencer Tunick’s ‘Return of the Nude’, Provocare Festival

This was a bit of fun shooting for AAP yesterday. To be honest perhaps I was a bit of a cynic about Spencer Tunick’s work, well a cynic is not the right word, but I wasn’t sure what it all meant. I still don’t,  but seeing the joy it gave the participants was wonderful. And seeing footage and pictures all over Melbourne’s media today about something that makes people feel good has a lot of value to me. Good on those Melburnians for their willingness to get nude on a Woolies carpark in a Melbourne winter. And it looked beautiful with their arms outstretched and a red shroud over their bodies.  It’s a breath of fresh air while we wait and hope for the rest of the boys to be bought of the Thai cave safely.
