Benalla and Goorambat Street Art feasting

Went on an overnight trip to Benalla last week..   Tom  got some driving hours up, I got to spend time with both boys and we got to feast on street art. An unexpected treat was the North East Artisans studios. Artists leave their studios open to the public as part of their co-operative. Despite it feeling like tress-passing to be in studios without their artists,  I loved their spaces. It always feels so intimate being in an artists studio. So inspiring. A privilege really.

We wandered round town seeing delicious street art, caught Callum Preston’s Milk bar before it closed and Tom Gerrard’s Dead Set Legends at the Benalla Art Gallery.

The Goorambat silos were stunning, the overall highlight was Adnate’s Sophia in the teeny tiny Goorambat Church.

Comfort Inn, Benalla. Di and Brian are wonderful hosts and supporters of the local street art.
